Freescale Technology Forum

San Juan Software once again had  a booth at Freescale Technology Forum (FTF) in Orlando, FL June 21-24th, 2010. "FTF is the big event for Freescale. It is the place to learn about new products and offerings. The classes are outstanding and it is a lot of fun, "remarked Drew Gislason, President of San Juan Software. San Juan Software announced PopNet 2.0 at the event. A wonderful time was had by all.
 
 
 

San Juan Software to Speak at Embedded Systems Conference


Tim Gillman and Drew Gislason, the founders of San Juan Software  spoke at the Embedded Systems Conference on ZigBee Smart Energy Profiles, Tuesday, April 27th at 8AM to 10AM, at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, CA. Mr Gillman is the Vice Chair of the ZigBee Smart Energy Work Group and Mr. Gislason wrote a popular book on ZigBee Wireless Networking that many have said is the best book on the subject.

San Juan Software & Freescale demonstrate wireless Skype connection on TV

Freescale's IEEE 802.15.4 transceivers combined with RF4CE iare being used in many new home theater televisions, set top boxes and DVD players for RF remote control. San Juan Software made a short video demonstrating using these same radios to make and receive phone calls using Skype and remote microphone.
